Colleyville City Councilwoman 2017-2022

After 6 successful years serving on the Colleyville City Council, Tammy voted for term-limits, voting herself out of the position. She now has the desire to further serve our community by running for GCISD School Board. 


Tammy has been married to Yuki Nakamura, M.D. for 35 years and they have a daughter Natalia (33) and a son Nico (29). Throughout her kids' school years, Tammy was very involved, holding positions at all three schools the children attended in GCISD: Glenhope Elementary, Cross Timbers Middle School and Grapevine High School.

  • Started the GHS/CHHS Bingo

  • Started Project Graduation Retro Prom party for parents to raise money for project graduation in which the first time event raised over $60,000.

  • Chaired the National Charity League banquet when Natalia was a senior in high school
